As a Registered Architect at Levin Porter Architects, my professional experience ranges from pre-design through construction administration services for project types including: corporate offices, research laboratories, higher education, PK-12 education, career centers, libraries, museums, civic / government, and industrial manufacturing.
In addition to my professional work, I am an ARE Instructor at Black Spectacles, the only NCARB Approved Test Prep Provider for all 6 Divisions of the ARE. I instruct weekly Virtual Workshops for candidates actively studying for the ARE 5.0: Project Development and Documentation exam to help foster the next generation of architects.
I earned a B.S. in Architectural Science from Western Kentucky University before achieving a Master of Architecture degree from Miami University. In 2014, I was selected to be a speaker at the TEDxDayton signature event to present my concept of Hybrid Amusement Parks: re-invigorating and re-grounding leisure in urban parks utilizing elements of an amusement park.
Finally, in my free time, I enjoy serving on various committees within AIA and TEDxDayton, I am a second responder for AIA National Disaster Response / Safety Assessment Program. I enjoy visiting distilleries and breweries, taking camping trips, and hiking with my dog, Raider.
